Definitely Family: Cross-border Families.

Article

Merel started her Action Project in the summer of 2017. She and her father left the Netherlands for Tajikistan by car. On the way there they crossed Germany, Austria, Croatia, Serbia, Bulgaria, Turkey, Iran, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan with the Pamir Highway as the highlight in Tajikistan. The road led through Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Russia, Ukraine, and Poland. The goal was to meet families along the way to find out who they saw as an indispensable part of their family. Because Dutch law has a narrow interpretation of this (i.e. max 2 parents with their children), Merel, as the daughter of 2 fathers and one mother, wanted to see whether this interpretation was being complied with more widely outside the Dutch borders.
