Our new animated short film "Voices in the Void" has been selected for the esteemed 10th annual American Documentary and Animation Film Festival. "Voices in the Void" tells the story of the Melchior family in occupied Denmark and their escape to Sweden during October 1943.

Senior Fellow and Humanity in Action Guest Speaker Francis Seeck will publish their dissertation with the title "Trans_forming Care: an ethnographic study on trans and non-binary care work." The dissertation will be available online and in print (in German).

On November 28, 1918, Polish women won their right to vote. 102 years on, they are still fighting for their right to self-determination, equality and freedom of choice. Once a leader in advancing women’s rights, Poland achieved women’s suffrage two years prior to the United States and ahead of most European states. Today, Poland leads Europe as one of the most oppressive countries for women, violating their fundamental human right by denying them reproductive rights.
