2012 New York Conference

Inspired by the Humanity in Action International Conference, the New York Conference is a regional gathering for Senior Fellows and friends of Humanity in Action.

The New York Conference features a full day of talks, skills trainings and opportunities for members of the Humanity in Action community to remain engaged in Humanity in Action's educational mission.

Highlights included talks by Jerry Mitchell, an award-winning journalist who is responsible for putting Klu Klux Klan members behind bars for the assassination of Medgar Evers and for perpetrating terrible church bombings in the 1960s.It also showcased the extraordinary work of many American Senior Fellows, including Anika Binnendijk, Denver Nicks, Zachary Kaufman, Ethan Kay, Kennedy Odede, Sophie Raseman and Natalie Jesionka.
