Inspired by the Humanity in Action International Conference, the New York Conference is a regional gathering for Senior Fellows and friends of Humanity in Action.

This year's conference will explore the theme of cities and human rights in urban environments. The event will feature a full day of thought-provoking speakers, professional skills trainings, a Senior Fellow reunion dinner and many opportunities to meet and reconnect with friends of Humanity in Action.

The conference will return to The New School for the second year in a row. Humanity in Action is collaborating this year with design faculty from The New School to develop a number of workshops on advancing the careers of Senior Fellows. Celebrated storytellers The Moth will also return to host a workshop on the art of telling a narrative.

Please see this page in the weeks ahead for additional information. We expect to announce the full schedule for the New York Conference in late September. Please see the links below for speakers and subjects from previous New York Conferences.
