HIA Brings European Fellows to New York for "Understanding America" Program

In October 2009, Humanity in Action convened a group of 25 fellows from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Denmark, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Poland, and Ukraine for its annual "Understanding America" program, a week of site visits and seminars that highlight grassroots efforts to improve human rights and social justice in the New York City metropolitan area.

HIA Senior Fellows Organize Interactive Exhibition in the Netherlands

HIA Senior Fellows from 2001 and “Critical Mass” founders Antoine Buyse, Enno Koops, Floris van Eijk and Hiske Arts created an interactive exhibition entitled “Do you think outside of your INBOX.” The Critical Mass Inbox-Exhibition stimulates understanding and tolerance amongst youth from different backgrounds, cultures and nationalities.
