HIA Denmark Partners with the British Council to Launch the Intercultural Navigators Program

The Intercultural Navigators program sets out to turn "communities of interest into communities of action," by mainstreaming techniques for navigating within and between cultures.

The program will train participants (HIA Senior Fellows) with the necessary tools to develop local projects designed to facilitate constructive interaction amongst youths from various cultural, socio-economic and religious backgrounds. The focus will be on groups who typically do not commingle, and who in many cases harbor strong feelings of antipathy towards each other, based on ignorance and prejudice.

After training in the program, the participants will initiate their own projects in their home communities.
