Humanity in Action Holds 20th Anniversary Celebration Benefit at Christie's

December 12, 2016 – Humanity in Action held its 2016 Benefit in honor of its 20th Anniversary celebration. The Benefit took place at Christie's New York City on Thursday, December 8, 2016

Pulitzer Prize-winning author Ron Chernow hosted the evening at Christie's Auction House.  

This year’s benefit honored David M. Rubenstein, philanthropist and Co-Founder of the Carlyle Group; Cornell W. Brooks, President and CEO of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP); Mariko Silver, President of Bennington College; and Antonella Caruso, Director of the Middle East and West Asia Division in the Department of Political Affairs at the United Nations. 

The event was hosted by Ron Chernow, Pulitzer Price winner and celebrated author of Alexander Hamilton. The night's event also included an auction by Christie's Deputy Chairman John Hays.
