Origins and Mission of the Museum of the History of Polish Jews

Professor Barbara Kirshenblatt-Gimblett delivers opening remarks for the Fourth Annual Humanity in Action International Conference.  In her talk, she addresses the creation and mission of the the Museum of the History of Polish Jews in Warsaw, which served as the venue for the International Conference.

Professor Kirshenblatt-Gimblett is the Program Director of the Core Exhibition for the Museum of the History of Polish Jews in Warsaw as well a Distinguished Professor of Performance Studies and an Affiliated Professor of Hebrew and Judaic Studies at New York University, where she also serves on the Advisory Committee for Museum Studies.
