Humanity in Action Germany promotes international understanding among young people through transatlantic cooperation and transatlantic exchange.

Cooperation and exchange are based on the areas of education, politics, culture, tolerance, community engagement and participation in public life.

HIA seeks in the broadest sense to explore past and present issues related to minorities and "foreigners" and to understand their adequate representation and memory.
