Bosnia and Herzegovina
Since 2005, Humanity in Action has welcomed nearly 40 Bosnian university students into the HIA Fellowship programs in Denmark, France, Germany and the Netherlands.
The addition of Bosnian Fellows and the study of Bosnian issues, past and present, have immensely enriched the educational experience of the HIA programs. Equally important, in launching their own Senior Fellows network and developing their own projects, the HIA Senior Fellows from Bosnia and Herzegovina are demonstrating that they mean to apply the HIA experience by taking an active role in reducing interethnic tension in their home society.
